Tras su viaje a Estados Unidos, Fred Lip regresó a Europa convencido del futuro del reloj eléctrico. El prototipo del primer reloj de pulsera eléctrico del mundo se presentó en 1952 en la Academia de Ciencias de París. Esta innovación representa “una obra maestra de cronometría y calidad”. El reloj equipado con el revolucionario movimiento R27 se comercializó en 1958. Fred Lip estaba orgulloso de ofrecer este reloj al General de Gaulle y luego al General Eisenhower.
