Founded in 1854 as the Waterbury Clock Company in Connecticut, Timex quickly became the "American Switzerland" thanks to its affordable brass pocket watches. A major innovation in 1992 with Indiglo backlighting, Timex has continued to democratize watchmaking with reliable and accessible timepieces for over 170 years.
