Made in France – Besançon

Founded in 1867 in Besançon, LiP (Leschot Manufacture Instruments Précision) quickly established itself as one of the benchmarks of French watchmaking. The manufacture equipped Paul-Émile Victor's polar expeditions and became an official supplier to the French Navy. In the 1960s-70s, LiP revolutionized watchmaking with its avant-garde electronic watches, notably the famous LiP Mach 2000. Despite economic difficulties in the 80s, the brand was reborn in the 2000s, preserving its French heritage while modernizing its creations. Today, LiP continues this century-old watchmaking tradition by offering authentically French timepieces that blend traditional craftsmanship with contemporary innovation.
