The Orient Watch company, founded in 1950 by Shogoro Yoshida, is the largest Japanese company specializing in the production of mechanical watches. Orient stands out for its ability to produce all of its movements in-house, guaranteeing exceptional quality and precision. In 2009, Orient became an exclusive subsidiary of Seiko, another watchmaking giant, thus consolidating its position in the international market and benefiting from significant synergies in watch development and production.
